32 – Tom Glavine – Can’t go wrong starting with the fine pitcher Glavine. Decent start.

82 – Johnny Damon – Anytime I see Johnny Damon throw the ball, I can only think of this shirt. I laugh everytime.

BL-11 – By the Letter Signatures Austin Kearns (09/50) – Wow, what a hit! By the letter, 09/50, and the letter A. I’m not a fan of Kearns, but this is still a cool card. Let’s have another look at that John Hancock:

I wonder who might want such a card?

52 – Austin Kearns – Whoa, that’s weird. What are the chances of Kearns back-to-back?

26 – Rafael Furcal – I have to plead the fifth about Furcal. He plays on the other side of the world, as far as Columbus is concerned.

AP-30 – Authentic Power Lance Berkman – This isn’t my favorite series of inserts, but the cards don’t look all that bad.

Verdict: Holy crap, By The Letters Autograph. This was a very exciting hit. It probably replaces the SPx Football pack as the best break on the site so far.

97 – Hank Blalock: Hmmm, Blalock isn’t bad, but this certainly isn’t the greatest start to our first bust here on the site. Things can only go up from here.

6 – Brandon Webb: Okay, that’s better. Webb finished 2nd in the NL Cy Young voting. That’s got to count for something, right?

73 – Vladimir Guerrero: Vlad the Impaler is one of those guys who is easy to root for. No complaints here.

39 – Ian Snell: I’m going to have to plead ignorance here. I don’t think I could name two Pirates players, and that includes Snell.

AP-2 – Albert Pujols: The insert of the pack, kind of a meh from me. Not a fan of Pujols.
