Busting Wax

Since we just busted a football and a baseball pack, we’ll follow with basketball, another SP product. This time it’s a 2007-08 SPx Basketball pack. This is another guaranteed memorabilia or autograph card pack. Let’s take a look:

Yeah, I know I’m getting something good, but I’ve still got to take a side-view peak. Looks like a thick card in there, I’m thinking jersey card.

The Contents

47 – Jerry Stackhouse – Stackhouse is unfortunately on the tail-end of a good career. Not a bad card.

FO-JW – Freshman Orientation Julian Wright – I don’t know much about Julian, other than watching him play college ball at Kansas. This isn’t the greatest jersey card, but I can live with it if Julian turns out to be a good prospect. He was taken 13th in the draft, so we’ll see.

68 – Lamar Odom – Solid player, his cards not so much.

45 – Ray Allen – The only bona-fide star in the pack, Jesus Shuttlesworth and his merry band of Celtics will probably be making a run at the NBA championship this year. Unfortunately he’ll be running into LeBron James and my Cavaliers. Sorry, Ray Ray, maybe next year.
